The farmers plight has of late caught many a fancy...... fancy of many TV serial makers (Agle janam mohe bitiya hi kijo and Bairi piya both showin the farmers selling their daughter to raise money.) Now Mid Day put into print the story of farmers at Bundelkhand.... selling their wives for cash and Whoa !!! legalised ....there is an agreement of sale... and they call it marriage contract.... there is even an opportunity / option of resale.... the USP.. I mean unique selling proposition... being the looks... prettier the woman...higher the price.... is bazaar se bazaaroo ka safar phir unke liye door nahi....
What are you thinkin the title seems derogatory... all the more comin from the fairer counterpart herself....hmmm....dunno !!!!! or ?????
This is really sad. I think the more enteprising women should come out and sell their very husbands to some rich landlord to work as slaves. Tit for tat for those rats. On a serious note, I really wish this commoditization (is that a word?) of humans come to a stop. The culprits should be prosecuted!

Action must be taken against them....... but justice in India is in itself a long story..........
It is seriously pathetic,one side we worship women and the other side they face such kind of a situation.......
